Admission Procedures
The admission process at St. Mark’s College of Education is structured to ensure transparency and fairness. Prospective candidates are required to adhere to the following guidelines:
Application Process
Applications for admission must be submitted using the prescribed application form available on the official college website or at the college office. Candidates must ensure that the application is completed in full, as incomplete applications will be rejected. All information provided in the application form must be accurate and verifiable.
Submission of Certificates
Selected candidates must deposit all original certificates with the college at the time of admission. These certificates will be retained by the college until the completion of the course. Candidates are advised to take sufficient photocopies of the certificates before submission.
Fee Payment
Fees, once paid, will not be refunded under any circumstances, including withdrawal from the course. Trainees dismissed on disciplinary grounds will also forfeit the entire fees paid.
Course Completion Commitment
Students who enroll in a course are expected to complete it. In cases where a student chooses to withdraw before completing the course, they will be required to pay the entire course fee for the duration.

- S.S.L.C Mark Certificate
- Higher Secondary Mark Certificate
- Transfer Certificate (T.C.)
- Community Certificate
- Nativity Certificate

Internship Program

The internship program at St. Mark’s College of Education is a vital component of the B.Ed. curriculum, designed to provide practical teaching experience and professional development for trainee teachers.
Duration and Scope
- Each trainee undergoes an intensive practice-cum-observation internship in an identified school for *40 days per academic year*. This hands-on training ensures that student-teachers gain real-world classroom experience and develop effective teaching skills.
First-Year Internship
- Trainees are assigned to teach students in *Standards I to V*, focusing on foundational teaching methods, child psychology, and classroom management techniques tailored to younger learners.
Second-Year Internship
- The focus shifts to teaching students in *Standards VI to VIII*, emphasizing subject-specific pedagogy, adolescent psychology, and advanced instructional strategies.
Pre-Internship Training
- Before starting the internship in the first year, trainees undergo *5 days of Micro Teaching Skills Training* at the Teacher Training Institute. This preparatory training equips them with essential teaching skills, including lesson planning, classroom interaction, questioning techniques, and feedback methods.
Objectives of the Internship
- Provide trainees with practical teaching experience in real classroom settings.
- Enable observation and implementation of effective teaching methodologies.
